Doris Uboh: President Tinubu Has Given Women A Voice – Delta North APC Women Leader


In reaction to the appointment of former member of the House Of Representatives Hon Engr Doris O. Uboh MNSE, the All Progressives Congress (APC) women leader for Delta North Senatorial District, Chief Mrs Onyeisi Ochei Ogbeakwu, has thrown her weight behind the new office and occupant, asserting that Delta North women were in full support of her capacity.

Speaking to Roundtown Media, Chief Mrs Ogbeakwu stated “ The appointment of Our Leader and Former member of the House Of Representatives Hon Engr Doris Uboh MNSE as Director, Rural Electrification Fund is well received, and has inspired happiness amongst progressive and party women in Delta State.

“ Since the Party’s existence, this is the first appointment given to a core female politician in Delta north, a woman who can galvanise people, and has over time shown her potential as a force to be reckoned with, having featured in the past 5 elections despite the malicious odds against her”.

Chief Mrs Onyeisi Ochei Ogbeakwu, who spoke with the backing of all party women leaders and female stakeholders in Delta North Senatorial District, expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, for finding Hon Doris Uboh worthy, vouching for her ability to deliver.

She said “ President Tinubu has done very well for us, and we are very grateful to him because with this appointment, his administration has extended a hand of fellowship, and he has given us a voice. 

“ Hon Doris Uboh is an asset and not just a grassroots politician. She is also a functional electrical engineer and an internationally certified finance expert. The responsibilities of the office of the Executive Director Rural Electrification Fund are not beyond her capacity, and we know she will not let this administration down”.

The Anioma APC women leader further offered assurances of Hon Doris Uboh’s integrity, clean record, and ability to make a lasting impact, underscoring her motherly nature and kindness. 

“ Through her time as Ika Federal Constituency Rep, Hon Doris Uboh was never found wanting for corruption or abuse of office, rather she worked hard to impact lives and her Minimum Wage bill put her among the female greats of Nigeria. 

"Nigerians, Deltans, and Anioma Women can expect the best from her,” Chief Mrs Ogbeakwu added.
