" From the outcome of the Anioma State Stakeholders Summit, which was convened by the Office of the Senator, it has been communicated that the time for the real work to deliver Anioma State is now, and being a Constitutional Issue all hands must be on deck at the National Assembly, to ensure it scales through for the assent of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

"Anioma People can be rest assured that Senator Ned Nwoko is not alone in this affair because, despite the partisan differences that exist, Anioma Stakeholders of today will put these aside, to make history and create this opportunity for the development of our territory.

" The opportunity that exists at the House of Representatives today, with the open door and interactive leadership style of Rt Hon Tajudeen Abbas PhD, alongside The Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu, must be cultivated to harvest the fruits of this agitation, he added

The Deputy Chief of Staff to Speaker Abbas who hails from Ute-Okpu Community in Ika North East LGA, also tasked stakeholders of Ika Federal Constituency across political groups, sociocultural organizations, and other affected structures to rally around the agitation and provide as much support as possible, because Ika People will be major beneficiaries.

" As the process to create Anioma state gets to its crucial stage, I call on all Ika stakeholders across cultural, political, and socio-economic sectors to offer their unreserved support to this project, because it offers us an opportunity to start afresh and right the wrongs of the past.

" This support will be valuable towards ensuring well-articulated presentations at the upcoming public hearing, which will effectively address critical areas of the project that need attention, including the creation of wards, local government areas, state and federal constituencies, and other sensitive issues, to reflect the desires of our people.

" I am ready to play my part in working with Senator Ned Nwoko for the interest of our people, and I urge everyone else to be ready, willing, and available to do so, he concluded.
