Engr Teddy-Jackson Ngwokor And Hon. Marylin Okowa-Daramola Will Elevate Ika North-East – Comrade Victor 'Capacity' Chiejine

The First National Vice President of the Mbiri Patriotic Union (MPU) and Treasurer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ika North-East Local Government Area, Comrade Victor "Capacity" Chiejine, has called on the people of Ika North-East to rally behind the APC's prospective candidates for the 2027 general elections, describing the combination of Hon. Marylin Okowa-Daramola and Engr. Teddy-Jackson Ngwokor as "the right partnership for sustained development and quality representation."

Speaking in Mbiri, Comrade Chiejine said " the people of the local government have every reason to consolidate on the gains already recorded by supporting candidates with proven records of service, competence and commitment to grassroots development".
He commended Hon. Marylin Okowa-Daramola for what he described as an impressive and people-oriented representation, noting that her tenure has been marked by impactful legislative interventions and constituency-focused projects.

According to him, "Hon. Okowa-Daramola has distinguished herself as a lawmaker through her contributions to legislation, particularly her role in sponsoring amendments aimed at strengthening the Child Rights framework, an initiative he said demonstrates her commitment to protecting vulnerable children and promoting the welfare of families across Delta State.

Beyond legislation, Chiejine praised the lawmaker for executing constituency projects that have directly benefited communities in Ika North-East. He highlighted the construction of classroom blocks in schools to improve the learning environment for pupils, empowerment programmes that have equipped artisans and small business owners with tools and support to expand their livelihoods, and mentorship initiatives designed to inspire and prepare young people for leadership, entrepreneurship and productive careers.

He said " these interventions have continued to earn Hon. Okowa-Daramola widespread respect across political, social and community circles, adding that her accessibility and consistent engagement with constituents have strengthened public confidence in democratic representation".

Turning to Engr. Teddy-Jackson Ngwokor, Comrade Chiejine described him as one of the foundational pillars of the APC in Ika North-East, recalling that he was among the early faithful who invested their time, resources and influence in building the party during its formative years in the local government.
"Engr. Teddy-Jackson Ngwokor is not just another politician. He is a committed party man whose sacrifices for the APC are well known across Ika North-East. His participation in the 2018 Chairmanship election brought renewed energy to our party and contributed immensely to its acceptance among the people," Chiejine stated.

He further described Ngwokor as " an accomplished engineer and respected stakeholder in Nigeria's petroleum and gas industry whose professional experience, leadership skills and problem-solving capacity would translate into effective legislative representation.

According to him, "Ngwokor possesses the technical competence, administrative experience and grassroots connection required to attract development, promote youth empowerment, facilitate infrastructure projects and provide purposeful representation for the people of Ika North-East Constituency II.

"I strongly believe that Engr. Teddy-Jackson Ngwokor represents the kind of leadership our constituency needs at this moment. His professional accomplishments, his understanding of governance and his long-standing relationship with our communities place him in an excellent position to serve. For me, Ika North-East Constituency II cannot have a better representative at this critical time," Chiejine said.

He expressed confidence that with Hon. Marylin Okowa-Daramola continuing her developmental strides in Ika North-East Constituency 1 and Engr. Teddy-Jackson Ngwokor representing Constituency II, Ika North-East would witness greater synergy in attracting projects, empowering youths and women, improving educational infrastructure and promoting sustainable economic opportunities.

Comrade Chiejine also reaffirmed the commitment of the Mbiri Political class and its APC stakeholders to mobilise massive support for the party ahead of the 2027 elections.

He pledged to mobilise Mbiri indigenes at home and in the diaspora, as well as residents across the constituency, to ensure overwhelming support for the APC in the presidential, National Assembly, governorship and Delta State House of Assembly elections.

He further reassured party leaders, particularly Former Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa CON, Evangelist Moses Kamanya, Comrade Emeke Asiwe, and other critical stakeholders, of his readiness to collaborate closely with them in strengthening party unity and delivering Ika North-East Constituency II convincingly for the APC.

"Our focus is unity, mobilisation, and victory. We are prepared to work with every genuine to ensure that the APC records a resounding victory across all elective positions in 2027", he concluded.
