COMRADE ALABI KAYODE CONDEMNS XENOPHOBIC ATTACKS IN SOUTH AFRICA.
Prominent student leader of the All United Nations Students and Youths Association, Comrade Alabi Kayode has condemned the violence in South Africa targeted at Foreigners, which has seen the death and destruction of lives and properties of Scores of Nigerians.
In his statement, the NANS Presidential Aspirant said "For all that exists, the xenophobic attacks in South Africa is totally barbaric, complete foolishness on display and very unacceptable. There is no reason why South Africans should see Nigerians and other Africans as their competition, rather only brotherly love, the spirit of comradeship in Negritude, and the move to see that the black man; where he may be, is a succeeding brother, a willing ally and a trusted friend."
Comrade Alabi Kayode aka Able-Alopay, further called on the South African Authorities and the International Community to launch a full scale clampdown on the activities of those who perpetrate Xenophobic tendencies.
"The universal right to life is being through this racism influenced ideology of targeting foreigners for violence, therefore in my capacity as a former National Officer of the All United Nations Students and Youths Association, I call on the United Nations, African Union, ECOWAS and other Multinational organizations to take steps to addressing this monster called Xenophobia.
The Immediate African Community must however rise in unity to tackle the issue in South Africa.
South Africa must resist this identity that is being foisted on it, by inhumane and unreasonable sentiments.
The Federal Government of Nigeria is assured of the total support of Nigerians in its drastic response to this issue.
Our hearts and prayers are with bereaved families, especially thode who lost close relives and associates"
Media and Strategic Communications Directorate, ALOPAY FOR NANS PRESIDENT.
