Comrade Alabi Kayode Sympathizes With FUOYE And Nigerian Students;

*……Calls For Tolerance, Quick Response to Students Related Issues and Urges Greater Cooperation From Governments across Board.*

Pioneer President of the All Nigeria United Nations Students and Youths Association (ANUNSA) LAUTECH Chapter; Comrade Alabi Kayode, has commiserated with Federal University Oye-Ekiti and Nigerian Students over the death of at least two promising young comrades during a peaceful protest gone sour.

In his statement Comrade Alabi Kayode aka Able-Alopay decried the sad reality of the needless loss of life that’s resulted from an intended peaceful exercise. He said “It is rather unfortunate and painful that we lost some young and energetic individuals in Ekiti state some days ago. Whenever the news of students dying trends, it is always a thing of hurt and sadness because every student is a potential solution to tomorrow’s challenges, and every loss shortchanges society”.

The Soft spoken LAUTECH  graduate who is a frontline aspirant to the Presidency of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS); emphasized the need for authorities to always continually do their best to ensure that student related issues are taken care of as soon as they arise.

"This unfortunate incident once again emphasizes why governments at all levels should always do their best to give quality attention to students of tertiary institutions of learning. This would go a long way towards alleviating their plights and reassure their sense of belonging as part of tomorrow's goodness."

Comrade Alabi sympathized with the families of the deceased and called for necessary steps to be taken towards effectively addressing the issues that led to the protest.
"I sympathize with the families and loved ones of the deceased and the generality of Nigerian Students and in conclusion, I encourage govt at all levels, security agencies and social institutions to be prepared and work towards a higher tolerance level as regards students.
May God Almighty grant hurting hearts the fortitude to bear this painful loss"
