Comrade Kunle Oyediran Congratultes Osun Commissioner Nominees


The Coordinator Students For Ilerioluwa Movement; and Public Relations Officer Oye 4 Osun Sociopolitical Group, Comrade Kunle Oyediran has congratulated the recently announced nominees into the Osun State Executive Council.

In a statement made available to news men, the student leader expresses his satisfaction with the caliber of personalities who had been nominated for screening at the House of Assembly. “I must commend His Excellency Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola for his careful selection of the proposed members of the state executive council. From what was read at the floor of the House on Wednesday, I can tell you that the calibers of persons nominated are technocrats who have proven themselves in their respective fields of endeavor before now, and it is only out of sheer wisdom that the Governor has chosen them as Commissioners and Special Advisers.”

Comrade Kunle Oyediran who led the student arm of the Illeriolowa and Buhari Campaign structure in Osun State, further charged the selected individuals to bring their expertise and passionate contributions to bear in the discharge of responsibilities subsequently assigned to them. “What we all want to see are striking innovations and designs that would not only express to the people the govt’s genuine intention for them, but also communicate to the world Osun State’s readiness to remain a prominent force in the development of the country.”

The Iragbiji born Students leader concluded his statement by urging the nominees to reserve a place for young people’s welfare in their deliberations and propositions towards a better Osun Polity. “I call on the nominees to take into consideration the leadership of the youths and students movement in the state, as they invent designs targeted at boosting government’s responsiveness to the people. We must understand that the younger generation is a pivotal as well as an integral part of the society; therefore they should also be put in mind in the business of governance and administration. Congratulations and May God Almighty give the required wisdom for purposeful partnership”.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
