NANS PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT EXTOLS LATE MOSES OISAKEDE'S SELFLESSNESS.

Late Moses Oisakede, GCNS

In solidarity with students of Ambrose Ali University and by extension Nigerian students, NANS Presidential Aspirant Comrade Kayode Alabi joins in marking the 20th Year Posthumous Remembrance of Comrade Moses Oisakede, Former NANS President who died while in active service.

In his statement, Comrade Alabi Kayode sees it as important to always bear in our consciousness the lives or our brothers before us who served selflessly and lost their lives in Active service, amongst whom Late Comrade Moses Oisakede features prominently.

"Today I join comrades and the  general Nigerian Students Movement in remembering the late Moses Oisakede, a former NANS President between 1998 - 1999.

Though we lost him when he was very much in his prime and Moreso while he was on his way to Makurdi in solidarity with students who were mistreated by the the University Management, nevertheless the reminiscences by close associates of Late Moses Oisakede give a vivid picture of selflessness and a committment to better welfare for students."

The statement concluded with a charge to always remember the labour of heroes past whose shoulders we climb to gain more insight for effective social advocacy.
