YOUTH LEADER CONGRATULATES HON EMMANUEL CHINYE, APPLAUDS OKOWA OVER APPOINTMENT.



A prominent Anioma youth leader, Comrade Chinedu Augustine Osemenam has congratulated Hon. Emmanuel Chinye on his appointment and inauguration as Chairman, Delta State Waste Management Board.

In his congratulatory message, the youth leader said “on behalf of the good people of Onicha Olona, I rejoice with Hon Emma Chinye on his recent appointment to head the waste management board. We see this appointment as a call to service, as well as a certification of his capability; and we are not in doubt that he would deliver on his responsibilities.”

Speaking further, he on behalf of his people thanked the Governor for choosing their son and brother to head an office with huge prominence. “We thank His Excellency Sen Ifeanyi Okowa for finding Hon Emmanuel Chinye worthy to head the very important Waste Management Agency and want to reassure him that with God on his side and the support of his kith and kin, he would dispense the discharge of his office with wisdom, innovation and dynamism”

The Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie, and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State (Office of the SSG) Sir Jossy Honnah were amongst the roll call of indigenes of Idumuje-Ugboko and guests who visited the Royal Palace to pay homage and celebrate with HRM Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko, as he commemorated the 2025 Iwaji (New Yam Festival) on Friday, the 26th of September.  Speaking during his presentation to the Monarch, the Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie who was visibly excited to be part of the celebrations expressed his deference and honour for the king, saluting him for his soft and gentle approach to leadership. PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
