COMRADE ALABI KAYODE (ABLE-ALOPAY) COMMENDS OSUN GOVT; URGES FOR MORE COOPERATION FROM CITIZENS TO DEFEAT CORONA VIRUS.



Former All Nigeria United Nations Students and Youth Association (ANUNSA) National PRO Comrade Alabi Alopay has commended the Gov Gboyega Oyetola Administration for the cautious but practical steps it is so far taking to address the spread of the deadly Corona Virus that ravages the world.

Speaking through a media release from his campaign organization, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Presidential Aspirant asserted that “from the moment the sad news of the
virus entering Osun State was confirmed, it is very clear that the government of His Excellency Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola has been very proactive about tackling the disease headlong, and so far so good we can very well say that there is a high awareness level in the state. The fragile nature of this situation has been skillfully handled and this is a statement of fact.”

Comrade Alabi who is a part of the team led by the Osun State Commissioner for Health as they went round the state in series of advocacy and awareness campaigns and further carried out the fumigation of areas within the state, enjoined the people to continually maintain a high level of cooperation with the government.
“With the progress record so far I think all that is needed is for more cooperation from the citizens and support from well meaning Osun indigenes especially medical and health practitioners. This is the time where we must all come together to fight this disease and keep it from spreading further. We must keep to the rules and directives from the state government and play our parts by also being vigilant.”

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
