APC Affirms Isaac Abbot Ogbobula as Caretaker Chairman of Rivers APC.

The National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has given insight to the legitimate caretaker committee chairman of the party in the state.



In a letter obtained by roundtownviews which was addressed to Hon Igo Aguma and signed by the Party's Head of Legal Affairs; Dare Oketade Esq, the party categorically stated that the leadership of the party in the state was administratively managed by Mr Isaac Abbot Ogbobula, who was duly inaugurated at the Exco Chambers.


Furthermore the letter which was written at the behest of the National Caretaker Committee disowned the actions of Igo Aguma and others, chiding them for disregarding legality through the suspension of  Rt Hon Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation and others, including the purported expulsion of a former acting national chairman, Chief Victor Giadom.
The letter also warned against dire consequences of impersonation and also copied the President, Muhammadu Buhari to notify him on the position of the party in Rivers State.

The party advised aggrieved individuals to approach the reconciliation committee headed by a former National Chair and ex-governor of Edo state Chief John Oyegun, for redress on perceived grieviances.APC

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
