DELTA COUNCIL ELECTIONS: JULUGA IS OSHIMILI SOUTH APC CANDIDATE.



Following the statewide conduct of primaries for Party LGA Chairmanship Candidates,  roundtownviews can authoritatively report the emergence of Engr Philip Chike JULUGA as the party's candidate for Oshimili South LGA. 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Oshimili South held her primary election to elect her Chairmanship Candidate for the forth coming Local Government Election coming up 6th March 2021. 
The Primaries Election Returning Officer for Local Government; Hon Prince Rister Izediunor collated and announced the results of the Election, after going round the various Wards in the LGA, at the LGA Secretariat @ Nnebisi road. 
This was done in presence of the DESIC Oshimili South Electoral Officer Mrs Patricia Isitua and Mr Sam Adeyemi of the DSS Oshimili South Office. 

The primary election witnessed turnout of party faithfuls from all the wards in Oshimili South. Announcing the result for Oshimili South, the Returning Officer Hon Prince Rister Izediunor declared Engr Chike Philip Juluga as the Candidate of the for the next LGA election in the state. Consequently a motion was moved and seconded for Mr Chukwudum Ogochukwu to be  nominated as a running mate.

Present at the primaries were all the immediate past Ward Chairmen and 90 percent of the former LGA Exco led by Ogbueshi Comrade Ndudi Umunna, Comrade Dumebi Njokanma, Mr Okey Atagbuzie, erstwhile Secretary and Organizing Secretary and currently Chairman and members of the LGA Caretaker Committee. Others include party chieftains like Dr Ojinma, Mr Anselm Onianwa etc. 

The leader of the LGA Ogbueshi Nabo Prof Leroy Edozien (Ubili ka nkwu Ahaba) joined the party via Skype and witnessed all event live.

Meanwhile the Party in the LGA conducted primaries for all the 20 Councilorship election yesterday where the party filed all the Councilorship position for the election in March next year.

Poised with these development, the party looks ready to give PDP big fight and a run for their money.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

The Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie, and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State (Office of the SSG) Sir Jossy Honnah were amongst the roll call of indigenes of Idumuje-Ugboko and guests who visited the Royal Palace to pay homage and celebrate with HRM Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko, as he commemorated the 2025 Iwaji (New Yam Festival) on Friday, the 26th of September.  Speaking during his presentation to the Monarch, the Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie who was visibly excited to be part of the celebrations expressed his deference and honour for the king, saluting him for his soft and gentle approach to leadership. PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
