GROUP CALLS OUT PARTY CHAIR

Over allegations of constitutional infractions and compromise.

A pressure group within the Delta State APC  has called out the caretaker Chairman Prophet Jones Erue.

This was made public in Asaba Delta state capital by Comrade Napoleon Duke, Secretary of the Delta Network for APC.

In a statement obtained by roundtownviews, Duke said "the group recalls that the national leadership of our party had dissolved the Party Executives  in all the states including the federal territory and equally nominated the dissolved executives to act as Caretaker/Extra Ordinary and conventional committee in all the states and the federal territory.

Due to this, the national leadership inaugurated the state chairmen of the Caretaker/Extra ordinary convention committee and directed them to inaugurate their LGA excos in their various states, after which the LGA will in turn do same to the wards then, to the units.

Today the Lagos State chapter of the party has obeyed that directive and do the needful by inaugurates the 37 LGA caretaker committee chairmen.

But in Delta state the story is different even when there is upcoming local government election where we need the wards executives mobilise for the candidates.

Today in the eye of the law there is no LGA and ward executives in Delta APC to perform that responsibility because they have not been inaugurated."

The statement further asserts that "information reaching the group indicates that the decision of the state chairman prophet Jones not to inaugurate the LGA is a plan between him Prophet Jones and Gov Okowa to jettison the election in favour of the PDP in Delta state.

To save the Delta state APC from this disaster, we members  are using this medium to call on the national caretaker committee to sack Prophet Jones and replace him with a more serious person that will take Delta state APC to the next level.

It is no longer new that the LGA primary election is around the corner and if I may ask, where are the ward and the LGA executives of the party that will elect councilors and chairmanship candidates of the party? It is a fact that for now there is no executives of Apc in the all the LGAs in Delta state.

The group views this as an attempt by Okowa and Prophet Jones so that at the end one person will just go to law court and nullify all Apc candidacy and that is just the end. Let us be wise."
