The funeral rites for the late patriarch of the Ochei family have been announced.

In a release captured on the official Facebook handle of Rt Hon Victor Ochei FNSE Speaker Emeritus DTHA, details were given about the event. 

The release reads "On Thursday, 3rd December 2020, my uncle, mentor and a paragon of positive trait, an exemplary patriarch of the Ochei family, Ogbekenu Quarters, Onicha-Olona Delta State, SIR KENNETH UCHECHUKWU OCHEI (KSC) joined the saints.

His death to say the least came as an unpleasant shock. But we are consoled by the fact that he has gone the way of mortals. Bros Ken, as he was affectionately addressed, left a legacy replete with selflessness, honesty and devoutness as a legendary patriarch.

His funeral rites which comes up on Tuesday, 29th December 2020 will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube from 9am via the following links:

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
