YOUTH LEADER MARCUS UBA 'Lodbroke'WINS APC TICKET.




Following the statewide conduct of primaries for councillorship aspirants by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, the contest in ward 8 Evwreni has been won by popular youth leader Comrade Marcus Uba popularly known as Lodbroke.



He emerged as the party's standardbearer after polling the majority, with his tally amounting to 204 votes.

He will now represent the party at the March 6th polls.


Evwreni is a town in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State. It is an oil-producing area, which has about 14 oil wells, glow and compressor stations operated by the SPDC, which produces 15,000 barrels of crude daily from the area since 1996.

It is also home to Nigerian billionaire and former Transcript Chairman, Olorogun Otega Emerhor and former Director of Projects, NDDC Dr Sam Adjogbe.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
