Anioma Youth Forum Worldwide condoles Gov. Okowa, Family Over Father's Demise.




The leadership and the entire members of Anioma Youth Forum Worldwide (AYF-W) has commiserated with Governor Ifeanyi  Okowa and other members of his family over the death of their father, Pa Okorie Arthur Okowa who passed on in the early hours of Thursday 28th, January 2021, at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba. 

The statement reads:

"Anioma Youth Forum Worldwide (AYF-W), received the sad news of the demise of the octogenarian and the Okpara-Uku of Owa-Alero with shock.


We join other Deltans, friends and associates of the first family to commiserate with our Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as we urge him to take solace knowing that his late Dad lived a fulfilled live and has only gone to rest having fulfilled his mission on earth.

We therefore, pray for the repose of his soul and those of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace while also praying that God grants all those he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Amen"

The statement was signed by Mr Ekwukwo Elvis the group's National Publicity Secretary.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
