APC MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION: Deputy Chair Mobilizes Supporters.





The Deputy State Chairman of APC Delta State, Engr. Elvis Ayomanor, yesterday called a meeting of his teeming followers in Sapele, to sensitise them on the need to revalidate their membership status and attract more people into the the party, to better prepare them for the great task ahead.

Many of his supporters expressed their displeasure at the leadership of the party, for empowering those who fought and even injured some of them in the last general elections, while they who are APC members, who did everything to ensure APC wins, are being left out.

They told their leader, Hon. Engr. Ayomanor, that if not his leadership they so believe in, a lot of them would have left for PDP.

Engr. Ayomaor made them know the problem was not the leadership of the party, but that of the individuals who won in those elections, they decide on whom to empower, not the party. But he promised the people, that the party leadership would be more careful in picking their candidates subsequently, not to allow the many mistakes of the past to reoccur.

Finally the people thanked their leader for his uprightness and doggedness. They all pledged their unallowed loyalty to him and the party

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
