Edo Youth Development Series.





The aim of the Edo Youth Development Series(EYDS) is to create a platform for young leaders and professionals to pass on their knowledge and experience to the Edo youths.

This event is timely giving the ever rising insecurity in the state and we hope to reach out to as much youths as we can through this series to re-orient them and expose them to gainful opportunities available for the youths. The leadership and capacity training is just one of the five(5) programmes lined up in the series.

At this training event, our Guest Speaker, Hon. Najib A. W. Tambuwal, the Majority Leader of the Nigerian Parliament(NYP) and Youth Development Expert would be teaching the youths on the meaning of leadership and the responsibilities of a leader; with hopes that these youths will be better prepared to take on leadership roles i the future. 

The capacity building session which would be handled by Osasere Egheomhan will focus of instilling the proper thinking into the youths to enable them build themselves effectively.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

The Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie, and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State (Office of the SSG) Sir Jossy Honnah were amongst the roll call of indigenes of Idumuje-Ugboko and guests who visited the Royal Palace to pay homage and celebrate with HRM Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko, as he commemorated the 2025 Iwaji (New Yam Festival) on Friday, the 26th of September.  Speaking during his presentation to the Monarch, the Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie who was visibly excited to be part of the celebrations expressed his deference and honour for the king, saluting him for his soft and gentle approach to leadership. PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
