Isioma Obiazi Thanks Party, Promises To Abide By Progressive Values In Dispensing Responsibilities.
As the All Progressives Congress APC, puts finishing touches to its preparations for the much talked about membership registration and revalidation exercise, a party chieftain has expressed his appreciation for his selection as a member of the state registration committees.
Engr Isioma Kingsley Obiazi, in a statement made available to Round-Town Views late Saturday, said he was humbled to have been considered worthy to be an official of the registration exercise.
"I am humbled and honoured to have been found worthy by the party to be a part of this exercise in an official capacity. I do not take this for granted and I promise to be faithful in the discharge of my responsibilities.
Speaking further, the youthful Deltan praised the effrontery of the National Caretaker/Convention Planning Committee in undertaking this onerous task.
He said "The registration and revalidation exercise is one that comes off as very essential, however we can't take away the bold disposition of the National Leadership of the party to undertake such a sensitive task. So far, we can see a pattern of responsible behaviour from the party leadership and this deserves commendation.
The soft-spoken progressive concluded with a charge on all party faithfuls to throw themselves into this exercise as it is the guarantee for better participation in the Nigerian political process.
"As party faithfuls, we are encouraged to take this exercise as a serious as possible, because this is the guarantee that the voice, will and disposition of the majority will be heard. We must not stay away but also encourage others not to stay away through participating in the political process which begins by joining a political party, and I urge everyone that falls into this category to strongly consider the APC"
Engr Obiazi is to serve as a member of the Cross-River State Registration Committee, it is headed by Hon Chinedu Ogah with Barr Yusuf Jengwe as Secretary.
