PDP Begins Moves To Reclaim Ekiti In 2022 .





The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said it is strategising, by way of mobilising, repositioning and reactivating its structures to reclaim Ekiti State in the 2022 governorship election.

The decision was taken yesterday at a meeting convened by the state secretary of the party, Mrs Funmilayo Ogun, with 16 local governments and 155 ward secretaries in attendance.
The meeting, which was held at the state party secretariat, Ajilosun, Ado-Ekiti, was attended by the state chairman of the party, Bisi Kolawole and other members of the State Working Committee (SWC).

Addressing the executive members, Kolawole tasked them to embark on an aggressive membership drive for the party so that it would be well positioned to take control of the state from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2022.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
