...Dedicate Awards To God and Humanity.
Director-General of Delta State Orientation Bureau, Barrister Eugene Azuka Uzum, Senior Special Assistants to Governor Okowa on Youth Orientation(Godspower Omafuvwe), Security(Engr Udoka),Projects Monitoring(Engr. Momah), Leader of the #ENDSARS in Delta State (Isreal Joe), and others bagged the Warri oil city advancement award (OCAA) 2020 in various aspects of the award categories.
The event which took place at Bon Hotel Warri, was organized by the leadership of the Warri City Group, and had in attendance various personalities from all walks of life.
Giving his welcome address,the chief executive officer of MayorKings agency Mr Louis Temisan, opined that the award are given out to individuals who have distinguished themselves in their services to humanity at the various levels of their passion of responsibility, noting that the honour done them was to commend them for a job well done and to encourage them in doing more. Temisan, added that it is also a means of encouraging others personalities to keying in , in the compassionate/ selfless service to humanity for better society.
Recieving the award on behalf of the DG Orientation, the special assistant on operations to the orientation helmsman, Ambassador Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole (Ugaga Talks), said that the award as directed by his Boss is dedicated to God, humanity and particularly to staff of the state orientation bureau who who were relentless in their Advocacy/sensitisation on good leadership and total adherence to the protocols of COVID19 for their effective living.
Ogheneyole added that he used the opportunity to thanked God almighty for saving the life of of Uzum who at a point contracted the virus in the line and was on isolation for weeks undergoing treatment ,and finally came out stronger and now honoured with EXCELLENC IN LEADERSHIP AND COVID19 ADVOCACY ICON OF THE YEAR 2020.
