HON LOUIS NDUKWE DUMPS PDP


Hon Louis Ndukwe, Fmr Oshimili North LGA Chairman.

As the Delta State People's Democratic Party continues to rumble, a prominent member and immediate past Council Chairman of Oshimili North LGA Hon Louis Ndukwe has resigned his membership of the party. 

In a widely circulated letter across media platforms, the resignation of Hon Ndukwe was hinged on what he termed trumped up charges without fair hearing. 

The letter reads in details :

DEAR SIR,

RE. RESIGNATION OF MY MEMBERSHIP OF PDP.

I write with deep sense of surprise to inform you,  that l received a one month online  suspension notification from the party for cooked up offences, without prior notice, nor invite to be heard by any panel set up by the party at any level even as l am with my family in Canada on holiday. This development negates all constitutional tenets in any democratic clime. I herewith resign my membership of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to save you further stress of attempting to either deepen your embarrassment or remedy your taken steps.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

The Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie, and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State (Office of the SSG) Sir Jossy Honnah were amongst the roll call of indigenes of Idumuje-Ugboko and guests who visited the Royal Palace to pay homage and celebrate with HRM Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko, as he commemorated the 2025 Iwaji (New Yam Festival) on Friday, the 26th of September.  Speaking during his presentation to the Monarch, the Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie who was visibly excited to be part of the celebrations expressed his deference and honour for the king, saluting him for his soft and gentle approach to leadership. PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
