Now Your Lamentations Begin, Delta APC mocks PDP
The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has hit the PDP with respect to the recent decampings from the ruling party in the state.
In a statement, the opposition party at the State mocked the PDP over it's troubles which has seen it's fold deplete on a daily basis.
The statement which was signed by the APC publicity Secretary Sylvester Imonina reads in full:
The common saying is that; "You can beat up a child, but you cannot stop the child from crying". In other words, when a child feels unjustly treated by a supposed guardian, the child has the right to seek refuge where he feels his rights will be protected.
It is on the above premise that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, condemns in totality the press statement (a write-up that could best be described as a dirge) by PDP, castigating its formal members who have seen the path to salvation in the APC, and willingly abandon the hopeless ship of PDP that is full of deceit, intimidation, bully and bleak future!
In the said press statement, PDP in its usual way of disrespect to those who disagree with its modus operandi, threw caution to the wind and descended into murky water of insult and unnecessary jabs instead of burying its head in shame for the ill-treatment of those Political heavy weight that have left its fold for good.
The Delta APC had predicted what will happen, and therefore not surprised at the sinking state PDP had found itself. Now, the lamentation of Delta PDP begins!
Delta APC wants to notify all well-meaning Deltans that different plans have been perfected by PDP led-Government of Delta State to intimidate, harass and lay false accusations on those who have left its fold with the aim of building a better Delta State where everyone is a stakeholder. That aside, there are also plans to silence the voice of opposition within and without the political circle.
In the face of all these perfected plans, APC calls on all people of goodwill to ride up to the occasion and disentangle themselves from the political, economic and misgovernance that Deltans found themselves since 1999.
Sylvester Imonina Esq.,
Publicity Secretary (Caretaker) APC Delta State.
