Rt. Hon Amaechi visits Kano, inspects Dry Port Project.




Barely 24 hours after friends across party line, tribe and religion gathered to celebrate the birthday of Rt Hon Rotimi Amaechi, he has today resumed in earnest.

This time, he went up North to Kano, where he inspected a major Federal Government Project.


He was received by a visibly elated Alhaji Ganduje, Governor of Kano State.

The project is a 20,000 TEU Dala Inland Dry port located in Kumbotso Local Government Area.

The project has been ongoing.
The Honorable Minister is satisfied with the job, but wants the contractors to speed up so that they can clear site in 4 months.



The Emir of Kano got to hear directly from the horse's mouth.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
