Delta APC Meets LGA Caretaker Committees Ahead Of Congresses.

The Delta State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated the Caretaker Committee Senatorial Chairman of the party.

This was done at a ceremony held in Isoko South LGA  by the State Caretaker Committee Chairman Prophet Jones Erue Ode, alongside members of the state working committee.

Inaugurating the Senatorial Chairman, Prophet Erue expressed his appreciation to all for coming.

He further said "I want you all here to know that you are the most important members of the party in your various local government areas."

Jones stated that "it is important that we respect every member of the party because the party is where we draw strength, however as party authorities in our various jurisdictions we must be careful to not appear weak and easily tossed around."

"The congresses are coming and I want to assure you that the party will not zone offices according to the whims and caprices of certain Political leaders who assume that they have it all. 

Recently we saw the defection of the immediate past senatorial chairman of Delta North, which occurred after a kangaroo meeting organized against the party's directive by some of those assumed leaders, who haven't been able to galvanize their grassroots.
Surprisingly the defection happened immediately after the meeting.
Can we say that the organizers didn't know of the impending defection?"

The State Chairman concluded thus "I want you here to know that we must always work according to the system, and also advice us to b careful not to be on the opposite side of the congress.
The PDP in Delta State in panicky, desperately shameless to the point of doing everything possible to hold on to the power they have already lost, and I charge you like the Bible admonishes to be careful and watchful about your activities."


The highlight of the event was the inauguration of Hon. Prince Fred Mordi, an indigene of Ogwashi-uku, Aniocha South LGA as the new Caretaker Committee Chairman Delta North Senatorial District.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
