Re: Obi Cubana Finally Speaks.

I have read in detail the reply of Obi Cubana to his critics wherein he narrated how he has helped several persons both uneducated and educated, Oba Indigen and non-ndigene, etc.

Let me just add my little criticism to that of the existing critics which the above subject matter has dealt with while hoping that mine would be addressed in a subsequent caption.

First, i do not know Cubana and his background vis-a-vis his wealth that he is displaying to either motivate, intimidate, or announce how wealthy he has become as typical of an average Igbo man.

I am not a businessman but a public servant with some theoretical exposure to the term business and how a typical Entrepreneur behaves when it comes to spending, offering assistance, attending social functions, mentorship etcetera.

Dear Cubana, this paradigm shift cannot hold water, and please stop stimulating idealistic society to the detriment of your Co-entrepreneurs or capitalists who strongly believed that a lone tree can make up a forest as against the age-long maxim that "a single tree does not make a forest"

Your resolve to teach men how to fish and not how to ask for fish from you is a big blow to the fascinating world of chronic capitalism, especially in Africa. Let me educate you on how a huge number of those in your class behaves; whenever you are approached for assistance, rudely tell whosoever how you struggle on your own to make your wealth, if such a person is a student asking for school fees, direct them to their poor parent and narrate how your parent struggle to see you survive, tell them Africans do not help themselves and so, therefore, you would not offer help to anyone. In addition, you can just keep on giving them like 2k or 3k to enable them clog up in vicious poverty. This is the absolute means of obtaining happiness and not making them billionaire or millionaire.

As for the Illiterates, employ them as Gardners, Drivers, Housekeepers, gatekeepers, messengers etc and keep on paying them below National minimum wage despite the consistent hyper inflation. By so doing, their Children would be slaves to your existing Children and your generation to come. Do not help them to achieve their goals no matter how promising such a goal may be.

For the Literates who the government have not be able to accommodate in the public sector, you could employ as many as possible but ensure you pay them poorly, sack or punish any erring staff because businesses are not run by emotion. Be very brutal, never you forgive them especially those with track records of sincerity and honesty.

You are in business to make money and more money, plough back your profit to your businesses. Don't you know how much three hundred million(300,000,000) naira could bring back as a profit within a period of say a year? Those you have helped with this huge sum would lavish them on luxury, poverty and accrued debts. They will never be grateful to you, they will plot to bring your businesses down. Some would end up as strong competitors against your businesses.

I also read where you wrote on reassigning help to those who failed initially after giving them huge sum to start up a business. This is very bad Mr. Obi, nobody deserves your assistance more than once because they will keep failing and coming back to you for assistance. They will start thinking that you planted some trees of money in an unknown location wherein you get money anytime to help them.

Lastly on this edition of reply, do not be involve in community development project. Do not contribute a dime to the development of schools, roads and other institutional or infrastructure projects. These are the responsibility of the government and political officeholders. Good enough you do not have political aspiration, also prohibit your Children from active political participation.

Until i would read an appropriate caption to this extra judgment of your welfarism and idealism, i remain your reviewer;
