Pomp And Funfair as Marian Ali Is Honoured By Catholic Church.
As APC, Cairo, Ogboru, Ahmadu Ali, Others Talk Tough.

Family, friends and well wishers turned up in huge numbers, as Dr Mrs Marian Nneamaka Ogoh Ali was honoured by the Catholic Women Organization, CWO, of St Bridgis Catholic Church, Asaba Delta state as Ezinne Oha.
The event which was organised by the leadership of the Catholic Women Organization, was to honour the contribution of persons who have impacted the society, the organization and the Catholic church.
Dr Mrs Marian Ali flanked by her husband Colonel Ahmadu Ali and Catholic Women Organization Leaders.
Speaking at the event, Rev Father Leonard Biachi said that the Catholic church had indeed observed the contributions of Chief Dr Mrs Marian Ali to the well being of women and the general welfare of the church, stating that the recognition was well deserved as the impacts she has made is well recognized by both the Catholic Church and the Nigeria society.
He urged her not to relent in her efforts and service to humanity, insisting that love and service to humanity is the utmost desire of God for all nations.

At the reception, Chairman of the occasion Rt Hon Cairo Ojougboh in his opening remarks praised the gallantry, personality and achievements of Dr Mrs Ali.
The Fmr HOR Member and Ex-NDDC EDP said "it is a privilege that I am here to speak as Chairman of this Occasion, because I believe I'm not worthy.
Dr Mrs Ali is a woman of diverse achievements as a Politician, Medical Practitioner, Wife and Community Leader.
From the events of today, we can observe that our celebrant is a woman loved by all. She is an example worthy of emulation by women and everyone as a great wife, an inspiring political leader, a woman proud of her Anioma heritage and one of substance. I remember the 2019 struggle and her staunch contributions to the Anioma agenda, she indeed stood out".
In her remarks Dr Mrs Ali thanked her husband Colonel Ahmadu Adah Ali, rtd, for his support, love and patience over the years. She further expressed that "the Catholic Church found it worthy to honor me as Ezinne Oha, therefore I decided to make sure that every local govt is represented here. Its not about politics."
Speaking further, Mrs Ali who is a member of the South South Reconciliation Committee of the APC, said " looking at the party people gathered here, you will agree with me that it is not fair for one man to insist on controlling the destiny of progressives in delta.
Therefore all we desire is justice, peace and equity. We are not troublemakers, rather we are committed progressives in the journey to rescue Delta state."
