Festus Ofume's Bio Circulates.



With a few moments to the official kickstart of the electioneering season by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the curriculum vitae of a lawyer and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Barr Festus Ofume has gone into circulation, gathering momentum.

In monitored releases across social media platforms, it was noted that Barr Ofume, an Ika South Constituency House of Assembly Aspirant's profile and credentials as circulated by members of his media team, echoes his roots from a political family with Hon. & Mrs. Isaac Jombo Ofume (JP) of Alihame Agbor, Delta State as his parents. 

He had his early education in Agbor, attending Erigbe Primary School and the then Gbenoba (now St. Columbus Grammar School).

He read law at the University of Benin and further obtained a Master of Laws Degree from York University in Toronto, Canada. Afterwards, he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003.

Notable amongst other details on display in his bio, are the intercontinental leadership experience possessed by the youthful Festus Ofume.

It reads "....Barr. Ofume is rich in exposure, having worked as Senior Consultant in the Education, Oil & Gas, Municipal and Provincial Government sectors in Washington DC, USA and Alberta, Canada.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
