3term ex-Rep Member, Daniel Reyenieju Exits PDP, Add To The Growing List Of Defectors.
The cracks in the People's Democratic Party in Delta State, have continued to widen with the resignation of former Member of the House Of Representatives, Hon Daniel Reyenieju.
Hon Reyenieju was a three term member of the House of Representatives who represented Warri Federal Constituency.
His resignation comes after months of speculation, where he was known to have felt slighted by the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa
Via a cryptic post on Facebook, Hon Reyenieju exploded saying that he was responsible for his decision, while also displaying his resignation letter.
His resignation comes after series of high profile resignations and defections from the PDP in Delta State went public over the past weeks.
Some of these notable defections include Hon Olisa Imegwu; former Speaker of the House Of Assembly, Hon Chief Faith Majemite ex-commissioner and fmr LGA Chairman, Hon Timi Tonye PhD; 2 time Chairman, Delta State House of Assembly Service Commission and Fmr Member House of Assembly, Rt Hon Monday Igbuya; Fmr Speaker DTHA, Comrade Mike Akpobire fmr Chairman and Executive Secretery Delta State Technical and Vocational Board, etc.
While most have officially defected to the All Progressives Congress in the state, others are rumored to be about to do so.
