We Made A Mistake With Okowa - Enudi Marcus

As the 2023 elections continues to elicit heightened tension, with interests being considered ahead of a new political dispensation, the President-General of Anioma Youths Council, Comrade Enudi Marcus has rued the choice of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as Anioma's choice at the 2015 Gubernatorial Election.

Comrade Marcus made this known via a post on social media on Monday, which has now gone viral in the state. 

He decried the level of neglect suffered by most Anioma communities , except Owa-Alero, where the Governor hails from.

He said " From what we can see today Gov Okowa has displayed his betraying spirit, after telling Deltans "Prosperity for all Deltans", we now see that it is prosperity for his family, boys and community.  Okowa betrayed all of us in Anioma except his Owa-Alero community.

Speaking further, the Anioma Youth leader went down memory lane, where he rued and regretted the choice of Senator Okowa over former speaker Rt Hon Victor Ochei Fnse.

He said " Honestly, we (Anioma people) made a very big mistake by choosing Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa over Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei.

" The Anioma agenda would have favoured us more if we had chosen Rt.Hon. Victor Ochei  over Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, it is not out of spite, but a reality we all see today.

" Please show me where else can you see commensurate developmental projects in other Anioma communities??

"Ndokwa is contributing to the National cake with their oil and gas, but they have been treated less, mranwhile Owa-Alero that contributes nothing, has more benefits. 

" What projects has he brought to Ndokwa nation? No completed projects, no higher institution, nothing in Ndokwa nation, the land that bleeds to give light to Abuja and other states.

"We are regretting supporting Okowa in Anioma, because he has brought in more pains, suffering, agony, hatred and division", he added.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
