The Time To Liberate Delta State Is Now, We Must Make It Happen – DR RUFUS EBEGBA.
The Diretor-General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA), Olorogun Dr Rufus Ebegba KSJ, has urged Deltans to liberate the state from the clutches of mediocre leadership in the state occasioned by PDP Administration in the state.
In a statement released on Monday, March 06, 2023, the NBMA DG stated that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege towers above all other candidates in the 2023 governorship election by his performance, interactions and consistency.
He said “on Saturday, 11th March, 2023, Deltans will go to the polls to elect a new governor and members of the state legislature for the next 4 years, who we believe will lead us to a greener pasture.
“The next 4 years in Delta State is very crucial for us as a people, and this is why we must choose rightly. Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has proven himself as a distinguished Deltan, as well as having enviable results from his 7-year representation of Delta Central Senatorial District.
Amongst the candidates available, only Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has a widely publicised plan for Deltans from 2023 onward, it is called EDGE to BAND and the end product is geared towards ensuring a better and more functional Delta State”.
Speaking further, Dr Ebegba stated that party members and the leadership need to rise up to the occasion and not take the chance by letting other parties win the governorship election as well as seats at the Delta State House of Assembly.
“At this juncture, I want to charge members of my party in Delta state and the leadership, to rise to the occasion at this eleventh hour, working assiduously to deliver the party at all levels in Delta Central Senatorial District. There is so much to do for delta state and we must ensure that dividends of democracy get to the people, having noted PDP’s failure.
“ Similarly, Delta state can no longer remain in the opposition as there is need or us all to become united with the federal government, in oder to make the state get more benefits. No other party has the opportunity and privilege that APC has, therefore we must make March 11, 2023, count in our favour.
" The lessons from the Presidential Elections are still very much fresh in our minds, therefore we must double our efforts towards victory, which must be definite”.
Dr Ebegba, an APC Leader from Delta Central Senatorial District concluded with congratulatory notes to Chief Ede Dafinone and Chief Joel Onowakpo-Thomas on their victories.
“ In conclusion, I extend felicitations to Chief Ede Dafinone and Chief Joel Onowakpo-Thomas, APC Senatorial Candidates for Delta South and Central Senatorial Districts ontheir victories at the polls. It is a great morale booster for the party members, ahead of the Gubernatorial elections on March 11.
" I urge party members and Nigerians to come out enmasse and vote for APC candidates across board, beginning with Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, our Gubernatorial Candidate”, Dr Ebegba added.
