ANIOMA YOUTH FORUM WORLDWIDE CONGRATULATES WINNERS OF 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS



... urges Deltans to imbibe the lessons of Easter.




Anioma Youths have congratulated the winners of the just concluded 2023 General Elections and Anioma Indigenes who participated and emerged victorious, and also joined Christians across the Senatorial District to mark the Easter Celebrations, with a message to imbibe the lesson of the season.

Comrade Elvis Ekwukwo, the group's National Publicity Secretary made these known via a statement released on Monday, 10th April, 2023.

 On the 2023 general elections Comrade Ekwukwo said, " The apex social political youth organization in Delta North Senatorial District, Anioma Youth Forum Worldwide (AYF-W) congratulates the winners of the just concluded 2023 general elections, and in particular, Anioma sons and daughters who came out victorious in the various elective positions. 

" AYF-W is pleased to identify with the winners and at same time share in the joy of their electoral victories. We admonish all participants in the election to have the spirit of sportsmanship and see their opponents as integral part of the processes that must throw up winners and losers.

Furthermore,  he asserted on behalf of AYF-W that " As a responsible and responsive organization that puts the interest of Anioma people above every other considerations, we are seizing this opportunity to urge the winners to see their victories as call to duty and must deligently serve the people who have placed confidence in their capacity to deliver their electoral promises and better their lots.

" Elections are over and as we look forward to the forming of the next governments both the Federal and State levels, AYF-W calls on all elected Anioma Sons and Daughters to place service to the people above any mundane considerations. 

" Ndi Anioma over the years have continued to yearn for the entrenchment of good governance that comes with confirmable account of stewardship, hence it is the upmost expectations of the good people of Anioma and indeed Deltans in general, to enjoy the devidends of democracy from the elected officers and those that will be appointed as well. 

Meanwhile, in the spirit of Easter celebration, Comrade Elvis Ekwukwo stated that " the leadership and entire members of  Anioma Youth Forum Worldwide (AYF-W) use this medium to charge Deltans, especially Ndi Anioma to imbibe the lessons of Easter, which anchors greatly on the culture of sacrifice for the greater good of all and show of love, which is the greatest commandment from the Almighty God. 

" As the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ represents the finished work of salvation for mankind, AYF-W believes this season shouldn't only connote merriment but as a period for sober reflection and that of a renewed hope for a future that is brighter for more development in our dear country and for Ndi Anioma in particular. 

" It is our prayer that the Almighty who rules over the affairs of men and in whose divine control our lives depend on, will continue to guide and protect all of us.

" Congratulations and happy Easter to everyone.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
