Former National Assembly Aide and 2023 Ika North East Constituency Candidate of The All Progressives Congress APC Mr Sebastine E. Okoh, has commended Progressives from Ika North East Constituency and Delta State for their consistency and faith for the reclamation of the mandate given to Senator Ovie Omo-Agege CFR, by deltans at the March 11 Governorship polls in Delta state.

Hon Sebastine Okoh

Hon Okoh made this statement in Lagos via his media office, in reaction to the Delta State Gubernatorial Elections Petitions Tribunal verdict, which failed to affirm the petition of the APC and Its Candidate, who were challenging the victory jf the PDP and Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.

He said " The Tribunal has given its verdict on the petition of my leader and Gubernatorial Candidate of the APC Senator (Obarisi) Ovie Omo-Agege CFR, and first I want to thank God for the conclusion of the first phase.

"As Progressives, it is not for us to bandy words and point fingers at the Judiciary for what we feel is not a reflection of the events of March 11, 2023.

" However, I want to commend Senator Ovie Omo-Agege for his disposition to democratic principles and faith in the Judiciary, which has informed his appeal for calm, as well as, his direct order for our lawyers to proceed to appeal the Judgment".

Speaking further, the Umunede-born Marketing Executive popularly known as Saba Na Baba, urged APC members and supporters of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege in Ika North East to remain calm and not  be saddened by the judgement, charging them to be hopeful about the appeal which is being carried out.

Hon Sebastine Okoh said " Our principal has declared his intention to appeal the judgment, with marching orders already given to the legal team.

" Therefore, I call on Ika North East Constituents and progressives in Delta State to remain calm and be hopeful that justice will be delivered at the Appealate Court.

" The Appealate Court will do justice to our prayers before it and justice will be served.
Till then, I urge my supporters to stand with me, as we remain resolute with Senator Ovie Omo-Agege in reclaiming the mandate given", he added.
