EBENEZER NSAKA SAYS DEPARTED MONARCHS ARE HEROES OF ANIOMA NATION.
Reactions have continued to flow over the news of the demise of prominent traditional rulers from Delta North Senatorial District/Anioma nation of Delta State, who passed on recently.
Mr Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka, Chairman NEC Foundation, Aniocha North Local Government Chairmanship Aspirant.
Amongst the condolence messages that have poured in is Chairman of NEC Foundation and Aniocha North Local Government Chairmanship aspirant Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka, who reacted to the demise the traditional rulers in Anioma nation, The Asagba of Asaba Obi Prof Chike Edozien CFR, and the Omu of Okpanam/Anioma HRH Obi Dr Martha Dunkwu MNIPR.
Nsaka, CEO of Pinec Intl, described the development as a sad one for Anioma people, as these traditional rulers were known for their love education, peace, security, and the glorification of our culture and traditions.
said, " On behalf of the Board of NEC Foundation and teeming supporters from Aniocha North Local Government, I extend sincere condolence to the people of Asaba and Okpanam communities on the demise of the Asagba of Asaba, HRH Obi (Prof) Chike Edozien CFR, and HRH Obi (Dr) Martha Dunkwu MNIPR, respectively.
Obi Prof Chike Edozien lived a fulfilled life, touching on various aspects of human endeavour through his lifetime. He pioneered aspects of Nigerian educational development, even as he maintained his love for the culture and tradition of his people.
" His long life and wise counsel will be cherished, and as we mourn his death, I urge that his life lessons be honoured as memoirs to live by. "
Mr Nsaka also eulogised the departed Omu, calling her a virtuous woman, who excelled in areas otherwise dominated by men.
" The late Omu of Okpanam/Anioma Obi Dr Martha Dunkwu MNIPR, will be remembered for her devotion to restoring traditional values of our Anioma heritage, even as she lived an active life of philanthropy and charity.
" She will be missed for her sincerity and conscious advocacy for a better society. Her vastness in various fields will be sorely missed, and I join in praying for the repose of her soul.
" Indeed, these are sad times for the people of Anioma Nation. Therefore, we must come together to celebrate the life they lived and note the lessons therein," Nsaka concluded.
