EDO GUBER: OBIAZI CONGRATULATES IDAHOSA, HAILS HIS TENACITY.

As Edo APC concludes its gubernatorial primaries ahead of the 2024 governorship election, Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former Ika South Constituency Aspirant, Engr Isioma Kingsley Obiazi MNSE, has congratulated Member Representing Ovia Federal Constituency Hon Dennis Idahosa on his victory, and emergence as guberbatorial candidate of the APC.

In his reaction to the development, Engr Obiazi, a leader of the party in Delta State, hailed Edo APC for making a brilliant choice in Hon Idahosa, emphasising that the party was heading into the election with a tough candidate.

He said, " I want to sincerely congratulate my dear friend and brother Hon Dennis Idahosa, Member Representing Ovia Federal Constituency on his resounding victory at the just concluded gubernatorial primaries of Edo state.

This victory is a testament of God's favour upon your life, as I recall our discussion early last year,  where you informed me of your intention to contest the governorship and your unwavering commitment, despite the odds and challenges.

Your victory has indeed shown that you’re from the courageous branch that Edo people are known to originate. "

Speaking further, Engr Obiazi praised party delegates across Edo State for the impressive choice of Idahosa while calling on leaders and members to close the gap ahead of the elections.

He said, " I salute Edo APC leader and members for making the impressive choice with Hon Dennis Idahosa, and urge that ranks be closed for victory to be delivered at the polls. Hon Idahosa is a tough and well grounded Politician and with his emergence, half of the work has been done. 

What is left is for Edo APC to consolidate for victory, " Engr Obiazi added.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
