I WILL IMPROVE OUR VIABILITY - NSAKA

As Deltans await the start of the activities to officially kickstart the process leading up to the much anticipated for the Council election, aspirants have continued to offer strategic insights on their campaigns and perception on how governance can best be delivered.

Chairman of NEC Foundation and Aniocha North Local Government Chairmanship aspirant Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka in his view, has assured delegates, leaders and faithful of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Aniocha North of his ability to perform at the Council in order to boost the viability of the party ahead of the present and coming electoral dispensation.

Mr Nsaka made the comment during an interactive session, where he spoke on his relationship with leaders and delegates ahead of the Party’s LGA electioneering activities.

He said “ In my relationship with leaders of the PDP in my local government area and beyond, I have come to identify a key factor that has helped see the party through to its present sphere of influence in the LGA. The key factor is being able to manage and aggregate all interests to keep the party viable for electoral contests.

“ The Local Government is the cradle of governance, and therefore remains the closest and most easily accessible tier of government to the people. The complex, sentimental, conventional and recurring expectations of the people are channelled via those perceived to wield influence at the grassroots, essentially as a alternative means of effectively securing attention of the Local Government Council with assurances of a positive response rate.

“ It is the combination and continued functionality of this conventional setup that has largely contributed to PDP’s dominance at the State and LGA”, he said.

Speaking further, the Onicha-Olona indigene and UNIPORT Graduate of Mathematics and Statistics, stated that having understood the interrelationship between leaders, Party faithfuls and supporters, he would run an administration that will sustain this to project the party’s viability ahead of developing political activities.

“ As Chairman, I will not only sustain this trend, I will also effect a legalisation of this system which would also serve to sustain the viability and strength of our Party in Aniocha North, ahead of future political engagements.

“ The LGA will actively pursue a unification where party principles and governance will combine to deliver uniquely for Aniocha North, Nsaka added.

Mr Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka gave these remarks in response to questions from select journalists and newsmen recently.
