DELTA NORTH APC WOMEN LEADER SALUTES NDDC CHAIR, PROMISE TO CONTINUE THE CHANNEL OF BENEVOLENCE.



The All Progressives Congress (APC) Women leader for Delta North Senatorial District, Chief Mrs Onyeisi Ochei Ogbeakwu has on behalf of women leaders of the nine local government areas of Delta North Senatorial District expressed appreciation to the Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Hon Chiedu Ebie Esq, for the extension of goodwill in the spirit of the Easter celebrations.

Speaking after receiving the various items given by the NDDC Chairman to APC Delta North Women, Chief Mrs Ochei said “ On behalf of Delta North Women, I extend thanks to Hon Barr Chiedu Ebie the NDDC Chairman for his benevolence towards us women of APC in Delta North. In the spirit of the Easter season, we happily acknowledge the receipt of cash gifts, foodstuffs other things, and we are touched that he remembered us this season.

“ Politics is very local, and Women are very strategic in politics, hence we appreciate his generosity and we are not going to hide it.

She further assured that the items would be distributed accordingly, to ensure that they get to as many people as possible, to further inspire hope and increase the following of the party in Delta North.

“ I give the Chairman the assurance that the same way Women leaders have received, is the same way it would get to APC Delta North Women across all wards in the Senatorial District, to maintain the channel of benevolence and empowerment,” Chief Mrs Onyeisi Ochei Ogbeakwu concluded.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

The Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie, and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State (Office of the SSG) Sir Jossy Honnah were amongst the roll call of indigenes of Idumuje-Ugboko and guests who visited the Royal Palace to pay homage and celebrate with HRM Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko, as he commemorated the 2025 Iwaji (New Yam Festival) on Friday, the 26th of September.  Speaking during his presentation to the Monarch, the Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie who was visibly excited to be part of the celebrations expressed his deference and honour for the king, saluting him for his soft and gentle approach to leadership. PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
