Delta North PDP Restrategises, As Asiwe emerges Youth Leaders' Coordinator.


Youths of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta North Senatorial District, have convened a Stakeholders Meeting to proffer solutions and help reposition the party, vis-a-vis increased youth inclusion and participation in politics. 

The meeting which held in Asaba, Capital of Delta State, had in attendance the party's Delta North Senatorial Chairman, Elder Moses Iduh, amongst other top party officials.

Speaking at the meeting, the Delta North PDP Chairman Elder Moses Iduh on behalf of the party appreciated the youths for their overwhelming support in the last general election, even as he urged them no sustain and increase the momentum.
He also reiterated Governor Sherriff Oborevwori’s commitment to youth inclusion in government, and the opportunities created for youth development by the present state government. 
Iduh tasked the youths on their support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and urged them to go all out to promote the M.O.R.E Agenda of this administration.

Highlight of the meeting was emergence of Gen Emeka Asiwe Dfs, Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta state, as the Coordinator of the Delta North College of Youth Leaders and the inauguration of the body, with the mandate to look at issues affecting youths, and proffer solutions that will further strengthen youth participation and enhance development. 
The Delta North PDP College of Youth Leaders is a body made up of various Youth groups within the PDP 
Present at the meeting alongside Elder Moses Iduh the PDP Delta North Senatorial Chairman, were the Deputy Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly Hon. Chukwunyem Okoh (Chukky Dandy), Delta North Senatorial Youth leader, Mr Lucky Onyia, Commissioner for Energy Mr Jerry Ehiwario, and Ex-Principal Secretary to the Delta State Government Mr Hillary Ibegbulem.
Others include Commissioner for Works, Rural and Riverine Roads Mr Charles Aniagwu, DESOPADEC Commissioner for Ukwuani, Hon. Surv. Azuka Enebeli, PDP Chairman Oshimili South, Ogbueshi Dada Okonji, Political Appointees on Youth Development, among others.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

The Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie, and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State (Office of the SSG) Sir Jossy Honnah were amongst the roll call of indigenes of Idumuje-Ugboko and guests who visited the Royal Palace to pay homage and celebrate with HRM Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko, as he commemorated the 2025 Iwaji (New Yam Festival) on Friday, the 26th of September.  Speaking during his presentation to the Monarch, the Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie who was visibly excited to be part of the celebrations expressed his deference and honour for the king, saluting him for his soft and gentle approach to leadership. PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
