DELTA STATE IS UNITED BEHIND GOV SHERIFF - EBENEZER NSAKA.


....Commends Senator Ned Nwoko, Ex-Gov Okowa.

Chairman of NEC Foundation and PDP Chieftain from Aniocha North Local Government Area, Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka, has emphasized the unity of Delta State and the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) behind the leadership of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori while commending Senator Ned Nwoko, former Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP leadership in the state, for the affirmation.

In a statement reacting to the recently held Delta PDP Caucus Meeting in Asaba, Mr Nsaka commended the leadership of the PDP for the outcome of the meeting, describing the Vote of Confidence passed on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as "deserving and in order".

He further said, " The calibre of personalities gathered at the PDP Caucus meeting, who altogether affirmed the Confidence Vote on our Governor goes a long way to deepen the unity and advancement that is being enjoyed in our Party and the state".

He also commended the Senator Representing Delta North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Ned Nwoko for initiating the Confidence Vote.

He said," I'm also proud to note the heroics of Senator Ned Nwoko who by initiating the Confidence vote on the Governor, has added another feather to his already glowing wings of performance, even as a first-time Senator, indeed performance recognizes performance".

Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka, an internationally certified business expert from Onicha-Olona Community in Aniocha North LGA also commended the unity and mutual respect being observed among past governors of the PDP in Delta State, who participated in the exercise, thanking them for always putting up a united front.

According to Nsaka," Governance is a continuum, and Delta State today is giving the country a very good example of progress in this regard, with the presence and affirmation of the immediate past Governor of Delta State HE Senator Ifeanyi Okowa CON and his predecessor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan CON, on the leadership Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, who is building on the success and stability passed down by his predecessor".

In conclusion, the PDP Chieftain also commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for expressing his readiness to conduct the local government elections, identifying him as a Democrat and believer in the development of the grassroots.

" In conclusion, I want to yet again commend Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for shutting up his critics by expressing his readiness to conduct elections into the Local Government, upon the expiration of this present dispensation in a few days.

" Once again, Governor Sheriff has shown his commitment to democracy, as well as, his interest in the development of the grassroots, through replication and expansion of his MOREAgenda to the Local Government Councils.

" Aniocha North LGA and Deltans will continue to show support to this administration," Nsaka added.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
