DORIS UBOH WILL NOT DISAPPOINT US – EWERE BENJAMIN AGHOLOR


Party chieftains have continued to react to the appointment of former member of the House Of Representatives, Engr Doris Uboh as Ag Executive Director, Rural Electrification Fund, by the President Bola Tinubu GCFR, and adding a voice is Mr Ewere Benjamin Agholor, a Chieftain from Ward 4 Ika South Local Government Area, and a personal assistant to the 2023 Ika Federal Constituency Candidate, has emphasized his confidence in her new place of responsibilities.

He insisted that Hon Doris Uboh was the right person and that her personality would attract good repute to the Agency and Progressives in Delta State.

Mr Ewere said “ Hon Doris Uboh is a great woman, and she is someone that can handle that office. I am a member of her group and I have had the privilege of working closely with her for a long time. She is a passionate woman, who has the right exposure for the job.

Speaking further, Mr Ewere a member of the Otu Kan Ma socio-political group extended his felicitations and commendations, explaining that Hon Uboh is a woman who has experience in the electricity sector and has over the years contributed to its development.

He stated that “ President Tinubu is a man that has always identified individuals with capacity, and once again he has proven this with Hon Doris Uboh, because she has been involved in the development of the sector over the years, and she believes very much in Nigeria.

"Youths of Ward 4, Ika South LGA commend him, and we congratulate our mother and leader on this big step forward in her professional/political career. In her previous service to us at the House of Representatives, Hon Doris Uboh did not disappoint us, and I am sure she will not disappoint us on this too", he added.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
