EBEGBA ALIGNS WITH DELTA APC CAUCUS, RALLIES SUPPORT FOR EMERHOR'S RECONCILIATION COMMITTE.


Former Director-General of the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA) and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in Delta State, Olorogun Dr Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba KSJI, has expressed his support for the outcome of the recently held Delta State APC Expanded Caucus Meeting, which took place in Asaba, Delta State, accepting the development as step towards the desired peace and unity in the party, as well as, commending the appointment of Olorogun Otega Emerhor as Chairman of the Reconciliation Committee.

Dr Ebegba made this statement from the Republic of Ghana, where he is on international assignment.

He commended the State Chairman Elder Omeni Sobotie, for the initiative and thanked the Honorable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Hon Festus Keyamo SAN, for working with leaders of the party across the state, to ensure the success to the meeting.

Dr Ebegba said “ As a leader in Delta APC this moment is one of the happiest since the razzmatazz of the campaigns in 2023, as I note with sincere loyalty the successful hosting of the expanded State Caucus meeting, which I received an invitation to attend.

" Due to pressing issues I was unable to attend the meeting. However, from information available, the event was a success and had laid the foundation for unity and oneness in the party.

" Therefore, I thank the State Chairman for taking the initiative, which has now generated hope within the party. I also thank the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Hon Festus Keyamo SAN for his support and serving as a rallying point for the party.

Speaking further, Dr Ebegba insisting that Olorogun Otega Emerhor was the perfect personality to carry out such a sensitive assignment.

“ The outcome of the meeting has generated much interest in the party and the emergence of Olorogun Otega Emerhor OON, as Chairman of the Reconciliation Committee is very well in order and fitting.

“ Olorogun Otega Emerhor is the founding leader of the party and its first gubernatorial candidate in Delta state, he has access to all leaders in the party and commands our respect, therefore the party is sure of reaching out to aggrieved members, with a view to solving the issues via his committee”.

In conclusion, Dr Ebegba calls on leaders and chieftains of the party to bear an open mind and work towards establishing unity in the party. He also urges all stakeholders to set aside their personal interests and prioritize the party’s success, asserting that no one can individually guarantee victory without working with other interests in the party.

“ With these developments, I now urge all leaders and stakeholders in the party to be willing to work towards establishing unity in our party, by setting aside our personal interests for the interest of the party, as this is the sure path to victory,” he added.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
