DR CHAMBERLAIN DUNKWU FACILITATES THE CONSTRUCTION OF UTE-OKPU DIVISIONAL POLICE HEADQUARTERS, AS DELTA POLICE COMMISSIONER PERFORMS GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY.

It was all shades of beauty, patriotism and social integration, as the long cry for improved security of lives and properties in Ute-Okpu Community is being efficiently addressed with the establishment of a Divisional Police Headquarters in Ute-Okpu Community, whose groundbreaking was held on Saturday, the 6th of October 2024.



The author had reported that the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House Of Representatives had promised to facilitate the construction of a contemporary police station to address the issues of crime and security issues Ute-Okpu and environs.

Chamberlain Dunkwu who further assured of a staff quarters to assist accommodation challenges, also promised to donate vehicles to aid local community policing by the police, announced that it was expected to be completed within three months.

The remarkable event was graced by prominent individuals, including the Paramount Ruler of Ute-Okpu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Obi Solomon Chukwuka, 1, JP; the distinguished Deputy Chief of Staff himself, Dr Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu and gorgeous wife, Lady Joy Dunkwu; the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Delta State, Prince George Efeizomor (Representing the CP); Area Commander Agbor, Ogwu Adolf; Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Owa Oyibu, Gambo Ado; Chief Felix Okonti, the Obadan of Ute-Okpu Kingdom; Dr Festus Goziem Okubor, President-General, Ute-Okpu Development Union (UDU); Chief Augustine Dunkwu, Obiepula; Chief Godwin Ogadi; Dr S. N. A. Idiaghe; Hon. Odum Ifeanyi; Dr Maxwell Momah, Comr. Justin Nwaeke.
