WHEN DORIS UBOH HOSTED DELTA NORTH APC STAKEHOLDERS.


The much anticipated Delta North Stakeholders Meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been held amidst cheerful exchanges, inspiring exhortations and renewed ambition, even as it exceeded expectations, expounded potential, and enforced the presence of the party as a force to be reckoned with, and its ability to change the turn of sociopolitical events in Delta North Senatorial District.

Co-hosted by the Delta North APC Senatorial Chairman Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka, and chiefly hosted by the ever-active, kind-hearted and resourceful leader of the party in Ika Federal Constituency Hon (Engr) Doris Uboh MNSE, Executive Director REF, Rural Electrification Fund, and Former Member of the House of Representatives, at the grounds of her palatial Agbor-country home. The event turned out to be a perfect follow-up of the first edition held in the early days of January 2025, which was hosted by Speaker Emeritus of the Delta State House of Assembly and Immediate-past Executive Director of Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services at the National Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Rt Hon Engr Victor Ochei FNSE, Esq, who also present today.


As earlier assured, Hon Doris Uboh indeed went long and out of her way to ensure a conducive and cordial atmosphere that makes for strengthened unity, while opening her doors to hundreds of party faithful who came from all corners of Delta North, desiring that vibe of unity and renewed collective priorities, even as she took time to salute leaders from various constituencies and thanked all for honouring the party.
The meeting was well attended by the "who is who" of the opposition front in the state, with the pleasant surprise attendance of State Chairman of the APC Elder (Engr) Omeni A. Sobotie, and the emphatic presence of the indefatigable and performance-driven Senator Representing the District at the National Assembly Senator (Prince) Ned Nwoko, whose remarks underscored striking revelations of encounters and assurances from the President, Vice President, Senate President and Deputy Senate President for Delta North and Anioma People that fired up party members with renewed hope ahead of future electoral engagements.
For Senator Ned Nwoko, it was his first public interaction with Delta North APC since his defection to the party in January, and his remarks satisfied the excitement of attendees, exposing the weakness of the ruling party in Delta State. 
At the epoch event, the Senator was alongside a host of opposition faces including three-term and immediate past Member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency Hon(Evang) Ossai Nicholas Ossai, Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (SMEDAN) Dr Charles Odii, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House Of Representatives Sir Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu PhD, Prof Leroy Edozien, former Political Aide to the National Assembly Hon Sebastine Okoh, Chief of Staff for Senator Ned Nwoko Dr Micheal Nwoko, Ohaneze Ndigbo women leader Hon Rita Daniels, Hon Ozioma Odafe Chairperson, Delta North Women Forum, Dr Ikechukwu Odikpo (Chairman, University of Abuja Teaching Hospital), Prof Leroy Edozien, Ide Tony Nwaka, Hon Tony Ndanenu, Chief Sualeze Eluaka, Hon Bazim Bolum, Hon Nnabundo Chinye, Engr Isioma Obiazi, Engr Donald Igudia, Prince Iyke Mordi, Chief Martin Elue, Mr Ikechukwu Bello, Mr Monday Igweh, Hon Moses Ebede, Dr Steve Oforgu, and others. 

Party officials from the district were also on hand to partake in the unity project including Barr Chris Ogbuobodo Zonal Legal Adviser, Chief Anselm Onianwa State Assistant Secretary, Mrs Tina Okwudili (State Women Leader), Mrs Onyeisi Ochei Delta North Senatorial women leader, Hon Nnamdi Ofonye State Ex-officio, Comrade Ekpeni Freedom Holywater Asst State Youth Leader, Pastor Nobert Akachukwu Sochukwudinma Aniocha South APC Chairman and SSA to the National Chairman, Hon Matthew Chinye (Aniocha North), Ogbueshi Dada Okolo (Oshimili South) Hon Ekene Kerry (Ika North East), High Chief Greg Onah (Ndokwa West), Chief Chris Oputa (Ndokwa East).

Others include 2023 House of Representatives aspirants, Hon Isioma Theodora Ndah, Barr Dennis Nwanokwai, and Hon Kemmer Emina, as well as, party chieftains including Chief Joe Asem, Hon Uche Osadebe, Dr Chris Ugo, Barr Cyprian Ashibuogwu, Hon Cyprian Nosegbe, Dr Maxwell Momah, Chief Wisdom Meddon, Comrade Sadik Enemosah, Hon Justin Nweke, Pastor Oliver Ikechukwu, Comrade Dumebi Njokanma, Arc. The Delta North APC Stakeholders Meeting firmly established the direction of unity, which was the consensus of remarks made by party faithful and chieftains alike.

The high point of the event was the declaration by the State Chairman that Delta North was in line to produce the next State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which was received with elation.

With the successful hosting of the second edition of the meeting, all eyes are now on Ndokwa/Ukwuani who is billed to host the next edition, with high hopes of a bigger gathering.
