HON. DORIS UBOH EXTOLS PRESIDENT TINUBU AT 73RD BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY.



The Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director and Former Member of the House Of Representatives, Hon Engr Doris Uboh MNSE, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu GCFR on his 73rd Birthday Anniversary, extolling his service and contributions to nation-building, as well as, underscoring his versatile leadership style as productive.

In a statement released from her office, Hon Uboh described the President as one of the best things to happen to democracy in Nigeria, citing his die-hard contributions to the restoration and progress of democratic practices in Nigeria.

According to Her " On behalf of my staff, supporters and progressives in Ika Federal Constituency, I join the rest of the country in celebrating one of the best things to happen to democracy, an icon of progressive politics, our leader and benefactor H.E. Asiwaju (Senator) Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-In-Chief of The Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on his 73rd Birthday Anniversary. 

" President Tinubu since his foray into politics has successfully maintained a democratic and progressive approach to leadership and governance, exemplifying these traits during his 8-year tenure as governor of Lagos State, where he raised the bar of governance through innovation and sheer progressive will."

Speaking further, the REF Director at the Rural Electrification Agency expressed confidence in the progress of his administration while pledging her loyalty and commitment to the Renewed Hope Administration. 

She said, " Since assuming office in 2023, President Bola Tinubu has opened our eyes to bold leadership, while we attest to his sincerity to the improvement of living conditions in the country. Increased revenues, increased earnings, improved youth/student welfare, improved infrastructure and power supply, and other numerous areas of growth.

" There is no doubt that in a matter of time, the results of these bold steps will be visible for all to see and advance the nation.

" Hence, I remain loyal and committed to the leadership and direction of Mr. President, even as I extend prayers and sincere wishes for good health, greater wisdom, and more impacts. Many Happy Returns, Mr President", the REF Director added.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011. Cholera Outbreak in Patani LGA, Tragedy Strikes Odorubu and Adobu Communities

A devastating cholera outbreak has struck the Patani Local Government Area of Delta State, leading to heartbreaking losses and numerous hospitalizations in the Odorubu and Adubu communities. The outbreak, which emerged unexpectedly last week, has spread like wildfire, causing fear and sorrow among residents of these close-knit communities.  Mr. Gabriel Inikoru, the chairman of Odorubu, expressed the shock and anguish felt by the community as they grappled with the suddenness of this crisis.
