FCT PCRC Chairman Visits Police Commissioner.



Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), FCT Command, Chief Dr. Rufus Ebegba KSJI, has met the Commissioner of Police CP Adewale Saka, at the FCT Police Command Headquarters, Abuja.

The meeting focused on strengthening the synergy between the police and the community, enhancing public trust, and developing collaborative strategies to improve security and intelligence gathering across the territory.
Chief Dr. Rufus Ebegba in his remarks commended CP Adewale Saka for his proactive approach to security in the FCT and reaffirmed the commitment of the PCRC to support the Nigeria Police Force through community engagement, sensitization campaigns, and logistics assistance.

In response, CP Adewale Saka appreciated the unwavering support of the PCRC under the leadership of Chief Dr. Rufus Ebegba. He emphasized the importance of community partnership, trust, and consistent communication in addressing contemporary security challenges in the FCT.
Both parties agreed to maintain regular engagements, community outreach initiatives, and joint problem-solving mechanisms aimed at ensuring peace, safety, and security across the Federal Capital Territory.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
