Ubulu-Okiti Group Begins Strategy For Senator Ned Nwoko, Seeks Support To Cushion Herdsmen Attacks.



Loyalists of the Senator Representing Delta North Senatorial District from Ubulu-Okiti community of Aniocha South under the auspices of Ubulu-Okiti Supporters Group For Senator Ned Nwoko, have begun to execute strategies towards further supporting his service to the senatorial district, as well as, for continuity towards the 2027 general elections, while seeking his support to cushion the effects of lingering herdsmen attacks.

The meeting which was the second interactive engagement convened by Comrade (Prophet) Isiekwene Ifechi the group's leader, had in attendance all members of the executive committee, and was an avenue to further conscientise the people on the activities of Senator Ned Nwoko at the National Assembly.

In his address, the Convener gave an overview of the Senator's stewardship since assuming office in 2023, asserting that Prince Ned Nwoko has raised the bar of service in a way that no Senator had done before.

According to Comrade Ifechi, the Senator's activism at the Red Chamber can't be underestimated especially when considering the bills and motions he has sponsored and moved, in the interest of the Senatorial District and the Country.
He explained that the group had taken stock of the direct inputs of the Senator and had found his action on the Creation of Anioma State, the self-defense bill to mitigate the effect of insecurity, the bill to stop the daytime movement of heavy duty vehicles, the bill to establish/upgrade tertiary institutions across the 3 federal constituencies that make up the district, securing the allocation of funds for the Ogwashi-Uku and Aniofu Dams, securing the employment of not less than 20 Anioma Sons and daughters into the Federal Civil Service, infrastructural projects social programs, among others, as laudable reasons to support him.
As part of the reactions, executive committee members of the Ubulu-Okiti Supporters Group for Senator Ned Nwoko assured the Convener of their commitment to the political advancement of the Distinguished Senator, expressing their satisfaction with him thus far. They expressed their support for the creation of Anioma State, which they said was the right thing to do.

Speaking at the meeting, the Woman mobilizer of the group called on the Senator to come to their aid over the harsh effects of the activities of herdsmen which have prevented them from farming for commercial and domestic use.
The Group through its Convener Comrade (Prophet) Isiekwene Ifechi thanked Senator Ned Nwoko for his support for their activities, while assuring him of leaving no stone unturned in their support and advocacy for his political progress and success in public service.
