Chamberlain Dunkwu, NAqF Power Nigeria's Participation At Africa Junior Open Water Event.

The President of the Nigeria Aquatic Federation Sir Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu PhD has hit the ground running by ensuring Nigeria's participation at the 2025 Africa Junior Open Water Championships to be held in Guinea-Conakry.
Under his leadership, the Nigeria Aquatics Federation (NAqF) has confirmed that the country will be represented by two emerging swimming talents Olaiya Timileyin and Daniel Udoh at the event, which is a build-up to the Africa Youth Games taking place in Angola from the 10th to 20th of December, 2025.
According to the Federation President engaging athletes in competitive action ahead of the youth games emphasises the Federation's commitment to athlete development and talent optimisation.
He harped on the benefits of exposure to continental events, asserting that such developments enhance the preparedness and sharpen the competitive edge of the athletes, enough to improve the country's performance in international and intercontinental events.
Dr Chamberlain Dunkwu who also serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, communicated the Federation's faith and confidence in the abilities of the youngsters Olaiya Timileyin and Daniel Udoh, while wishing them a successful campaign with assurances of continued support and welfare provision.
The Africa Junior Open Water Championships is scheduled to take place between the 28th and 30th of November, 2025, while the team will depart on the 27th.
