Trakiriowei, Nsaka Lead Hundreds of Participants At NEC Foundation Charity Fitness Walk.


The highly anticipated and much talked about Charity Fitness Walk organised by the NEC Foundation, under the Chairmanship of Ambassador Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka, was successfully held, in an atmosphere of cheerfulness, brotherly love and social integration, with hundreds of participants across neighbouring towns, like Issele-Uku, Issele-Mkpitime, Idumuje-Unor, Onicha-Ugbo, Asaba and environs, gathering at Onicha-Olona, Aniocha North LGA to make a statement on healthy lifestyle.

Ambassador Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka, having rallied and secured the support of the Delta State Government through the Delta State Ministry of Youth Development, was alongside top serving and past government functionaries led by the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development Barr Thankgod Harry Trakiriowei who was present at the event.
Other dignitaries included representatives of the Office of the Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, representatives of the Aniocha North LG Council, Serving and past Councillors from Aniocha North LGA, and the Zonal Command of the Delta State Traffic Management Agency (DESTMA).
Also present were the Vicar of Ascension Anglican Church Ogbekenu, who gave the opening prayers, the Ozoma of Onicha-Olona, the President and Executives of Olona Youth Association, prolific author Mr Benaebi Edonyabo, a delegation from the Icons Club, and the Big Heart Lawn Tennis Club.
The walk which covered a distance of 4 kilometres spanning over 3 hours, was complemented with morale-boosting packages including cash gifts and welfare packages to over 200 participants to the tune of over 5 million naira, courtesy of NEC Foundation and its Founder Ambassador Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka. 

According to him, " we are grateful for the support and turnout. 

" We thank the Executive Governor of Delta State Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for the support given through the Ministry of Youth Development. We also appreciate the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development Barr Thankgod Harry Trakiriowei for his presence, the Office of the Deputy Speaker, the Aniocha North Local Government Council led by my brother Hon Emma Chinye, various groups, and others too numerous to mention.
" The success of this event has inspired us to look forward to another edition next year, and hopefully, NEC Foundation can make this a regular awareness event, as well as advocate for the success of the More Agenda of the Delta State government, Ambassador concluded..

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
