Aidan Dumuje-Abili: Chamberlain Dunkwu Showers Dollars, As NAqF Celebrates Youngsters' Medal Winning Feat.

Nigerian Swimming talent Aidan Dumuje-Abili's exploits have sent the President of the Nigeria Aquatics Federation Sir Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu PhD, and members of the board into a celebratory mood, with his bronze medal-winning performance at the ongoing Africa Youth Games, in Angola.

According to Sir Dunkwu, the news of the medal-winning performance of the young Aidan Dumuje-Abili has sent massive happiness across all chapters of the Aquatic Federation, even as stakeholders are impressed by the youngster's performance. 

" I am glad to announce to the board that one of our very special talents and Nigeria's fastest young swimmer, Aidan Dumuje Abili, just clinched a bronze in 50m Butterfly.

" This exciting news comes like an early Christmas present to the nation and the board, from our dear Aidan Dumuje-Abili, who flew our colours and did us proud.

In my capacity as President of the Nigerian Acquatic Federation, I have made available a token sum, to appreciate and encourage him to win more to the board and the nation.

This is to also encourage and inspire our talented aquatic sports specialists to give their best, and just like Aidan Dumuje-Abili, you will also be celebrated," he concluded

Aidan Dumuje-Abili clinched the bronze medal in the 50m Butterfly section with a personal best of 25.78 seconds, and the NAqF Board under the leadership of Sir Chamberlain Dunkwu PhD, will leave no stone unturned to support his exploits.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
