APC Hold Unity Meeting in Ward Eleven, Oshimili South LGA



Pass Vote of Implicit Confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, And Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.

The All Progressive Congress, APC, in ward eleven, led by the ward chairman, Hon Amaechi Uzor, yesterday, organized a unity rally to harmonize relationship between members of the party in the ward and those who defected from other political parties to APC. The meeting which started after the opening prayer by Comr. Nwachukwu Sadik Enemosa, was a show of mutual cooperation and oneness which witnessed the integration of new leaders into the leadership fold of the party in the ward.
Welcoming everyone in the gathering, the ward chairman, Hon Amaechi Uzor, expressed joy at the increased number of members of the party in the ward. Hon Amaechi assured all members of steady mutual cooperation and equal opportunities. He explained that the party is one and open for everyone, assuring that APC is a platform that accommodates divert qualities and guarantee equitable distribution of opportunities to all it's members. The chairman, encouraged all APC Faithfuls to remain firm and committed to the Renewed Hope and More Agendas of the Federal and Delta state governments respectively.
The Ward chairman, Hon Amaechi Uzor, Welcome the LGA chairman, Ogbueshi Dada Okolo, ably represented by the party's LGA welfare Secretary, Hon Adigwe Oniawa, and his entourage.

Also speaking at the event was Ogbueshi Hon. Smart Meka, the board chairman, Delta State Rural Development Agency. Hon Smart Meka, expressed confidence in the administration of governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, and president Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Hon Smart, who declared his unalloyed support for APC, also explained that there is no more PDP in delta state as all PDP structures in the state have been collapse in to APC. The Honourable encouraged everyone to keep hope alive and believe in the opportunities that are already in place by the More agenda of His Excellency, Elder Sheriff Francis Oborovwori's administration.
Others who spoke at the event, including the LGA Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Habib Faruk, and the LGA Assistant Woman leader, Hon Delight Charles, who are from the ward, welcome everyone in the gathering, reinstates that APC is one and that the party recognizes no difference between old and new members.
The LGA chairman, Ogbueshi Dada Okolo, represented by Hon Adigwe Oniawa, encouraged all APC members to sustain the cooperation that already exist in the party. The LGA chairman, explained that all APC members are equal as there is no special attention for either old or new members. He commended the leadership of the ward for their cooperation and also encourage them to do more. The LGA chairman, lauds the women for their mobilization capacity, as he assured them of equal stake in all party activities.
Also speaking at the event was Chairman, Delta State Muslim Pilgrim Board, Hon Awolu Tukur, who moved the motion of Vote of Confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori. The motion was Seconded by one of the leaders of the party in the ward, Prince Johnson Ojiah, and the motion was unanimously endorsed by the general house.

Comr. Nwachukwu Sadik Enemosa, one of the leaders of the ward, in his vote of thanks on behalf of the ward chairman, extends gratitude to all the leaders that made the event possible. Comr Nwachukwu, appreciates the support of the LGA chairman, Ogbueshi Dada Okolo (Igwe Omenife), for his regular supports to ward 11, also to the Chairman of all wards chairmen in Oshimili South LGA, Hon Patrick Okocha, who also spoke at the event. the ward Councilors Hon. Audu Jubril and Hon. Comr. Adim Dikedi.
Other notable leaders who graced the event includes; Chief Dr. Innocent Ogudile, (Papi), Alhaji Meriga, Alhaji Jimoh Ibrahim, Alhaji Abdulai, Hon Okechukwu Ijeomah, Hon Okafor Chinedu (represented), The ward Vice Chairman, Mr Obi Adinkpaya, the ward Youth leader, Comr Tunde Lawal, ward woman leader, MS Nkiru, Dcn Sunday Bangs, all ward eleven executive officers and a host of other leaders.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
