Chris Agboma Inducted as Member, Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers

A new chapter has opened in the professional journey of a vibrant real estate businessman and grassroots political figure, Comr. Chris Peter Agboma, as he was formally inducted into the prestigious Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV). 

The induction, which took place on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the elegant Podium Event Centre, Aromire, Ikeja, Lagos, marked a significant milestone in his expanding portfolio of influence and expertise.

Comr. Agboma, who also serves as the Secretary of Ward 6, Ika South All Progressives Congress (APC), has long been recognized for his passion for real estate development, youth empowerment, and community growth. 

His induction into NIESV is widely seen as a validation of his commitment to professional excellence and ethical practice in the real estate sector.

The event gathered established professionals, young surveyors, industry stakeholders, and distinguished personalities who celebrated the achievements of new inductees. 

Comr. Agboma stood out not only for his dedication to learning and development but also for his consistent drive to elevate standards in property management, valuation, and real estate consultancy.

In his speech, he expressed profound gratitude to God, his family, mentors, and colleagues who supported him through the rigorous process. He noted that the honour comes with great responsibility—one he is fully prepared to uphold. 

According to him, membership in NIESV offers a new platform to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s evolving real estate landscape while ensuring that clients and communities receive top-tier professional service.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
